Founder

Dr. V. V. (Appa) Pendse was a visionary educationist. A doctor of philosophy, a dedicated volunteer, a visionary, a true leader and a devotee of Vedanta, he was a multi-faceted personality.

History

Dr. V. V. (Appa) Pendse believed that motivated intellectuals were needed to transform India into a developed country. To nurture intelligence for social change, he founded Jnana Prabodhini in 1962.
