Admission Procedure for 5th Standard

The selection process has four steps
  1. Form submission : The admission process starts in February. Forms are made available from 1st February. 20th February is the last date for submitting the forms. Forms are also available on the website. Forms can be filled online here directly or downloaded and sent by post with required DD.
  2. Entrance Exam - First round : The test consists of a battery of intelligence tests & scholastic achievement test in Mathematics. The test lasts for 3 hours. All tests are written tests. For getting an idea about the nature of intelligence test, parents may refer material available for preparation of State Government Middle School Scholarship Examination (4th standard). The test administrator gives instructions before starting the test. The child should appear for the test in a tension free state of mind. Scholastic test is based on syllabus of Mathematics for 4th standard.
  3. Entrance Exam - Second round test & Interview (for Shortlisted Candidates only)  : The candidates scoring marks above prescribed norm are called for another test and interview. The second test is again an intelligence test.
  4. Final List : On the basis of performance in the second test and interview the final list of selected candidates is declared.
Instruction for filling up form
  1. Application form can be filled online here OR Duly filled downloaded form from this website can be sent by Post or Courier services along with demand draft of Rs. 300 of a Nationalized Bank in the name of Jnana Prabodhini Prashala payable at Pune.
    OR
    Application form can be obtained from reception counter of the school by paying Rs. 300 cash or by sending Rs. 300 by money order or demand draft of Nationalized Bank in the name of Jnana Prabodhini Prashala payable at Pune.
  2. The admit card for the entrance test will be issued after submitting the duly filled forms in the office OR if the form is filled online, candidates will receive admit cards by email. All candidates must fix a passport size photo on it.
  3. Students can choose Marathi or English medium for the test. Parents are requested to fill the appropriate medium carefully in the application form. Please check the session (Morning- 1/ Afternoon- 2) & group code (Marathi- 1 / English -2) printed on the Hall Ticket.
  4. School office timings are as follows :
Monday to Friday- From 11.00 to 5.00
Saturday – 8.30 to. 12.00
(Excluding the holidays.)

Admission Procedure for 6th to 10th Standard
Please note that Entrance Examination is conducted only if seats are vacant.
 
The selection process has four steps
  1. Form submission : Forms are made available throughout the year and only on the website. The procedure starts immediately after a seat becomes vacant. All parents who have filled up form are alerted about entrance examination as soon as entrance examination for a seat is declared. They are then asked to pay Rs 300 as charges towards entrance examination.
  2. Entrance Exam : The test consists of a battery of intelligence tests. The test lasts for 2 hours. All tests are written. For getting an idea about the nature of intelligence test, parents may refer material available for preparation of the State Government Middle School Scholarship Examination (4th or 7th standard). The test administrator gives instructions before starting the test. The child should appear for the test in a tension free state of mind.
  3. Final List : On the basis of performance in the test the final list of selected candidates is declared.
