Instructions
Introduction – The aims, objectives and the educational policy & various programs of Jnana Prabodhini Prashala (JPP) are on previous page. The information on this page gives instructions for the Entrance Test for Fifth standard. The test consists of a battery of intelligence tests & scholastic achievement test in Mathematics.
1. Medium of the Test: Students can choose Marathi or English medium for the test. The parents are requested to fill the appropriate medium in the application form carefully. Also check the group code (Marathi/English) printed in Hall Ticket.
2.The Nature of Test: The test has two parts
- Intelligence Test
- Scholastic Achievement Test.
All tests are written tests. For getting idea about the nature of intelligence test, parents may refer material available for preparation of State Government Middle School Scholarship Examination ( 4th standard).
The test administrator gives instructions before starting the test. The child should appear for the test in a tension free state of mind.
Scholastic test is based on syllabus of Mathematics for 4th standard.
3. Process after the written test
The candidates scoring marks above prescribed norm are called for another test and interview. On the basis of performance in the second test and interview a final list of selected candidates is declared.

5. Other Instructions:
1. Application form can be obtained by paying Rs. 200 cash from reception counter of the school or by sending Rs 225 by money order or demand draft of Nationalized Bank in the name of Jnana Prabodhini Prashala payable at Pune.
2. Application form can be downloaded from this website and should be sent by Post or Courier services along with demand draft of Rs 200 of a Nationalized Bank in the name of Jnana Prabodhini Prashala payable at Pune.
3. The admit card for the entrance test will be issued after submitting the duly filled forms in the office. The outstations candidates will be issued admit cards on the day of entrance test at the reception counter.
4. Forms will be accepted in the school office in the following timings:
Monday to Friday- From 11.30 to 2.30
Saturday – 8.30 to. 11.00
(Excluding the holidays.)
5. The Entrance test will be conducted in two batches

Parents should take note of correct batch printed on admit card and bring their ward for the test at right time
6.Parents are not allowed inside the class rooms.
7.The students should bring their admit cards with them.
8.Once the student enters the school premises, volunteers guide them to classrooms.
9.The students should bring along with them:
i) 2 Sharpened pencils
ii) Sharpener
iii) Tiffin-box
iv) Admit card
10. The test takes almost 3 hrs. After the test students are brought to the ground floor. Parents are requested to come at 12 p.m. (for Morning Batch ) and 5 p.m. (for Afternoon Batch) to take their children.
11. In case If candidate fails to bring Tiffin, he is provided snacks. The charges a can be remitted after the test.
12. In NO case the request for change in assigned batch will be entertained.
